Strandvik HOA Homeowner has to ask HOA Treasurer if his 3Q2018 dues payment was received

This is something that has never happened in 31 years I have been paying Strandvik Inc HOA dues and the first time I have heard a payor has to ask a payee if his payment is received. On Jan15 2019 I receveid a message from Chase bank that an online billpay check they mailed out on Oct10 2018 has not been cashed and Chase put a stop payment on it.  Their practice is to stop payment after 90 days.  Mailed out on Oct10, should be received by Oct15, and stop payment on Jan15. I checked my records and it was for a Strandvik Inc homeowner dues for 3Q2018.  I emailed the new Treasurer Tim Brown (twice) and finally received a reply.  He said the check showed up late and "so we missed cashing it." The appended bill below states clearly that due date is Oct15 and considered late with penalty after 30 days.  So I asked Tim what he meant by "showed up late."  His reply below says "end of October." which is still 15 days before being considered late. So what di...

Four (4) different accommodations made to Chestnut

I first wrote to Karl Lindor in the summer of 2015 requesting termination of an easement that no one seems to know where it is located.  Also, no member of Strandvik Inc HOA has even heard of this easement until I brought it up to Karl Lindor.  His first reply back to me included the comments of long-time and past Strandvik president Marc Bothel.  See emails appended below for history. For about 9 months, Karl sent me these emails showing support for termination of the unknown easement.  Karl, why did you mis-lead me with your emails?  In business, isn't your word your bond? Karl Lindor Emails Supporti... by on Scribd For about 9 months, Karl led me to believe through his emails that he supported the termination and it would be granted.  All changed when the May31 2016 Annual Meeting took place, I was informed by Karl after the meeting that my neighbor Chestnut needed to walk down my driveway.  So what does this have to do with the easement...

How does Karl Lindor get away with calling an illegal special meeting for Aug 24, 2016

A few folks involved in this litigation are confused about the illegal meeting that Karl called.  The meeting was held on Aug24, 2016.  But Chestnut and Strandvik counsel seems confused and says proper membership notice was given for the Aug 8, 2017 Annual Meeting.  YES, proper notice was given for the Aug 8 2017 ANNUAL MEETING.  No guys, I am referring to a "special meeting" on page 000114 where Karl wrote: I propose we have a "special meeting" on Tuesday 8/16 7:00PM at my home."  Due to business travel by JulieR and start of SAMBICA camp, the emails show the "special meeting" was moved to Wednesday 8/24/16. In Karl's email dated Aug5 1040pm appended below, he asks Sally to forward the email to those board members not copied on it.  That means the required number of board members DID NOT vote to call this SPECIAL MEETING; and Karl called it himself in violation of Strandvik Bylaws. Now look at the Strandvik Bylaws appended below.  Did the S...

After months of speculating who trespassed and destroyed my fence, Karl Lindor identifies the guilty party

Multiple requests to Strandvik HOA for invoice for the illegal removal of my fence, new evidence emerge in emails below. Darin Chestnut's destruction of my fence is malicious mischief in the first degree according to WA  RCW4A.48.070   ( https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=9a.48.070 ) and a Class B felony. And what did Karl tell Bellevue PD Officer Ayala when asked if he knows anything about the removal of my fence?  By not cooperating with the police, is Karl an accessory to the crime? Strandvik Homeowners Association Board in Bellevue WA 98008 authorizes the illegal removal of a homeowner's fence

Karl Lindor, president of the Strandvik Homeowner's Assocation on Lake Sammamish in Bellevue led the effort to illegally remove my property line fence.  This was done so that Karl can give my neighbor Darin Chestnut a way to walk down my driveway to bring gas and equipment to his backyard.  Chestnut has access from his garage via his own sideyard to access his backyard.  He doesn't want to carry Class 3 flammables on his property but it is ok for him to do so on my property. See page 2 of the Strandvik HOA Annual Meeting Minutes dated August 8, 2017 "Fence Dispute Update" Karl Lindor, a real estate broker, along with Darren Smart and Dave Martin supported this illegal removal.  Herd or mob mentality? How can Darin Chestnut even think he was authorized to remove my fence

Chestnut wrote in his Mediation Brief: "In August 2017, at a meeting with proper notice to its members, the HOA, with a quorum, voted to authorize the removal of the fence.  The Chestnuts believed that the HOA and president Karl Lindor authorized the Chestnuts to remove the fence.   The fence was removed in September 2017 "  See bottom of Page 3 of Chestnut's Mediation Brief below. Mr. VP of Major Projects: is that how permission is granted?  By assumption with nothing in writing?  Any email from "the HOA and president Karl Lindor?" But in a Responsive document dated March 30, 2018, Chestnut was asked to "Admit that you tore down, or caused to be torn down, Plaintiff's property line fence...in or arund August of 2017" Chestnut's answer was "Deny. The fence was removed at the direction of the Strandvik HOA, which voted to remove the fence at its annual meeting." Which is true Darin?  Your statement in the March 30, 2018 Requ...
